主讲人简介：Christopher F Baum是美国波士顿学院经济系主任、教授。计算经济学会咨询委员(Society for Computational Economics)，Journal of Statistical Software主编，StataJournal副主编，Computational Economics副主编，International Journal of Computational Economics and Econometrics副主编，在应用计量经济学领域享有盛名。2018年，Baum教授在RePEc/IDEAS评选的世界顶级1000名经济学家名单中排名第46位，先后在Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of International Money & Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance等知名期刊发表论文多篇。Baum教授还是STATA软件的顶级专家，著有教材《An Introduction to Modern Econometrics Using Stata》，畅销全球。
